Q&A Events for the German Somatic Basiscs Training:

The next cohort of the German Somatic Basiscs Training begins on September 7, 2026. 

It forms the foundation for the multi-year, ISMETA-certified training program to become a Somatic Movement Educator, but can also be booked on its own as a personal introduction to somatics. The program provides a systematic overview of various somatic methods, their distinctive features, and cross-method movement and learning principles.

The Q&A events provide an opportunity to ask questions - both about the content and practical aspects - regarding the Somatic Movement Educator training program and the German-Somatic Basiscs Training. To participate, please register in advance via Zoom for each session.

Online Open House in August

On August 28, the Somatische Akademie Berlin will virtually open its doors to offer you a glimpse into its program and various courses exploring somatic diversity:

Courses will begin ONLINE at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. and will last 45 minutes each.
