- Staying connected—with yourself and with others
2-Day Workshop | Somatic Practice & Self-Awareness (FLINTA* only)
Staying Connected – With Yourself and in Relationship
We do not move through the world in a vacuum.
How we feel, react, and relate is shaped by the structures we live within.
Many FLINTA* people learn early on to adapt:
to hold, mediate, and regulate — for others.
Boundaries become uncertain, anger gets controlled, needs are minimized.
This is not simply “your personal issue” — it is collectively learned and anchored in the body.
This weekend is a space to explore exactly that, both within your own body and within the shared field of the group.
What does contact feel like when we are not automatically adapting?
What happens in the space when boundaries become clearer?
How does connection change when anger is allowed to exist — without becoming destructive?
We work with body awareness, movement, and direct relational encounters.
You are with yourself — and at the same time part of a collective process in which dynamics can emerge, mirror each other, and shift.
Themes such as boundaries, anger, and self-compassion are approached not only as personal experiences,
but also as pathways toward greater agency within social conditioning.
What you might take with you
- a deeper understanding of how social conditioning lives in your body
- embodied experiences that open new possibilities in connection with others
- more clarity around your boundaries — and how to hold them
- access to your anger as a powerful and orienting resource
- a sense of connection that is not based on adaptation
This weekend is a space for embodied experience, collective learning, and subtle shifts in what has shaped us.
Not in isolation.
But in relationship — with yourself and with others.
For whom?
The workshop is designed for a maximum of 15 FLINTA* participants and requires no prior experience; however, a basic familiarity with somatic or body-oriented approaches may be helpful.
Even though we are trained therapists, this is not a therapeutic setting. We create a clearly defined space for self-exploration, connection, and new avenues for action. The workshop is not suitable for people experiencing acute mental health crises.
