Franka Flügel

M.A. in Motology · Tamalpa Life/Art Practitioner · Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist (embodylab) · Yoga Teacher (300-hour certification)

Franka works as a motologist, integrating body, movement, and creative expression into her practice.

She has been working in psychotherapeutic clinics for about ten years and also supports people in outpatient and community settings.

Her focus is on the Tamalpa Life/Art Process®, a body- and art-based approach that combines dance, painting, and creative writing to make inner processes tangible through the body. She also incorporates Hatha yoga, meditation, and somatic trauma work into her practice.

In her work, she is particularly interested in how experiences of gender, care work, and social power dynamics are inscribed in the body—a perspective shaped in part by her role as a mother of two children.
