After his contemporary dance training, Ingo Reulecke studied choreography at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" Berlin. In 1994 and 1997 he received scholarships from the Berlin Cultural Senate and in 1998/99 from the DAAD for study visits to New York City. In 1999-2004 he worked as "Choreographer in Residence" at the Tanzfabrik Berlin, in 2001 as Artist in Residence at Fylkingen (Stockholm) and in 2002 as Artist in Residence at the Choreografisches Zentrum Essen for "gleich.gültig 2". His choreographies have received several awards and have been invited to numerous festivals in Germany and abroad.
2008 artistic director of the TMA at the Kunstfest Weimar.
Since 2000, numerous collaborations with director Lukas Matthaei. From 2012-2014 Reulecke had the artistic direction of the collaborative project `Bauhaus Tanzen`, in close cooperation with the Bauhaus Dessau, the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz in Berlin, the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau as well as the course of studies 'Szenischer Raum' at the TU Berlin.
In 2006, Ingo Reulecke takes over the direction of the dance department at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" until 2013 and is elected to the board of directors of the "HochschulübergreifendesZentrum Berlins" until 2012.
Reulecke has a permanent position at the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz in Berlin.
