Ana Kavalis

Dancer, Actress, Dance-Theatre Teacher

Ana Kavalis is a Cuban-German performance artist, actress, and dance/theater educator based in Berlin since 2004. She began her dance training in Havana and earned a Bachelor's degree in acting in Uruguay at the E.M.A.D. With a background that includes collaborating with various artists, she has been a freelance performer, creating and executing solo productions.

Since 2019, Ana has been developing her own body-voice training called "Resonant Body" and currently teaches it in different Berlin studios. She is also a co-founder of feminist Performance groups, the Ore Ama Collective and The Psychedelic Choir. In 2023, she participated in the Somatic Voice training at the Somatische Akademie Berlin. Alongside her artistic work, Ana is a mother to a 10-year-old daughter.
