DE | Training for somatic voice development

Voices are as individual, fascinating and diverse as people are.
In this training we explore in many ways the special bodily dimension of sound and language. We support the processes of individual liberation and unfolding of individual voices and accompany the emergence of communal, (language-) musical, collective processes.
In particular, we use the somatic methods of Experiential Breath according to Prof. Ilse Middendorf, Atem-Tonus-Ton®, Ursang, Body-Mind-Centering®, voice improvisation and experiential philosophy to question the bodily access to one's own voice and allow it to be experienced in a concrete way. Receiving and listening - inner not outer voicing - will play a greater role in this process. Releasing the potential of one's own voice will be supported, the sound of the voice in its many qualities can be more strongly differentiated and the resonance capacity of the entire body can be expanded. Based on this deepening bodily response, the voice is shaped into expression - singing and speaking.
Previous experience is not necessary, but joy and curiosity about sound and language are highly desirable.

performance artist, voice performer and Roy Hart vocal coach
works both as a soloist and in various formations with artists from other disciplines in interdisciplinary performance projects.
Originally she studied "New Artistic Media" with a focus on performance with Ulrike Rosenbach, followed by a parallel lateral entry into contemporary dance. Since 1996 she has been developing her own performances with movement / aerial acrobatics, video installations, composition and voice. In 2002 she discovered her fascination for the voice in an experimental and artistic context and is constantly engaged in the research and development of the human voice. Walli has been giving regular workshops in Germany and other European countries since 2006. Since 2009 she is also a certified voice teacher at the Roy Hart Center in Malérargues, France.

Breathing and singing teacher, singer
Bettina Spreitz-Rundfeldt is a breathing and singing teacher and singer. In workshops and individual work, she combines her many years of singing pedagogical experience at the Berlin University of the Arts with her work as a breathing teacher, teacher of Atem-Tonus-Ton® and lecturer at the SAB in the continuing education Somatic Voice.
Her passion is to research body, breathing and movement work with singing people on the way to their embodied voice.
