- Moving like a Skeleton - Experiential anatomy of the skeleton

Experiential anatomy of the skeleton for application in educational, therapeutic or artistic professions. This workshop provides an in-depth look at skeletal anatomy and the physiology of movement of joint connections.

What does this workshop focus on?

For participants from body-awareness methods, this workshop offers detailed anatomy knowledge with a focus on biomechanical force projections along the skeleton. Participants who already have a sound knowledge of anatomy can anchor their knowledge more deeply in their own body orientation through specific movement-awareness exercises.

Which somatic methods were practiced?

Based on the Feldenkrais Method, economic force-trajectories through the skeleton in movement are physically explored in movement-explorations and demonstrated on the body as well as on the skeleton. Each day is dedicated to the detailed deepening of one large functional unit (trunk & head / pelvis & legs / arms & shoulders) and its importance for the whole system.

For whom is this workshop recommended?

This workshop is for participants with and without previous knowledge. It will be in English with German translation.
